League clubs ready to land loan stars

A host of Premier League players are set to go out on loan this week as the window opens for 'emergency' deals.

Bolton Wanderers youngster Danny Ward is top of Coventry City's list of wanted players but a number of other potential loanees are also available according to the weekend papers.

The likes of James Vaughan (Everton), Luke Moore (West Brom), Henri Lansbury (Arsenal) and Michael Kightly (Wolves) are all being mentioned as candidates for moves to the Championship.

The Sky Blues will surely also wrap up the signing of Marlon King after running the rule over the player in training, perhaps both from a fitness point of view and also to see how he settles in amongst his potential new teammates.

Aidy Boothroyd may also allow some of his fringe players to join Shaun Jeffers and Jermaine Grandison out on loan as he begins to find a settled first XI.
