'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Double delight for City starlet

Shaun Jeffers had a day to remember on Thursday after extending his loan stay at Cheltenham where he is getting a taste of regular first team football and also making his debut for England U-19's.

The 18-year-old has made an immediate impact with League Two Cheltenham and will now stay at Whaddon Road until January.

'We're delighted with his progress. He's only started one game but has scored two goals,' Cheltenham boss Mark Yates told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

'He's a young boy and still got a lot to learn but the good thing is he's got a fantastic attitude.'

To cap a big day for the youngster he came on as a 69th minute substitute as England eased past Slovakia at Gresty Road.
