'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Work in progress'

With the Sky Blues celebrating five years at the Ricoh, they rewarded the fans with a hard working performance and just about deserved the three points.

But Aidy Boothroyd said that 'he was under no illusions about today's result. What we have got today, we got through real grit and organisation rather than our fabulous football, but it is a place to start'

'The important thing is that we don't get too excited with ourselves, which I guarantee we won't'

Marlon King watched the game with his family and Aidy Boothroyd confirmed after the game that King has been in talks with the Sky Blues.

The one negative from the day was the gate of 13,169. You have to wonder if being on TV is not now counter productive for the club and fans as with so many games live, today's was just a screen filler. The weird kick off times certainly don't help the fans and had kick off been at 3 pm. you would have expected at least four to five thousand extra on the gate.
