Sky Blues versus...Nottingham Forest

Coventry City enter their 10th successive season at Championship level with another new manager at the helm in the shape of Aidy Boothroyd.

The former Watford and Colchester boss will lead his new team into action against 23 opponents, who Vital Coventry will be looking at over the next few weeks.

Head-to-head: 12 Championship meetings have taken place since the Sky Blues dropped out of the top-flight, Forest winning 5 and losing 4 with 3 draws.

Transfer dealings: Andy Impey had a short spell with City after leaving the City Ground in 2005 while Marcus Hall moved in the opposite direction (briefly) in 2002.

The man in charge: Billy Davies confirmed his reputation as something of a Championship specialist last season when he transformed Forest from relegation candidates to promotion contenders.

Despite run-ins over the club`s transfer policy, the Scot remains at the helm and will be hoping to go one better this season.
