Sky Blues versus...Norwich City

Coventry City enter their 10th successive season at Championship level with another new manager at the helm in the shape of Aidy Boothroyd.

The former Watford and Colchester boss will lead his new team into action against 23 opponents, who Vital Coventry will be looking at over the next few weeks.

Head-to-head: 14 Championship meetings have taken place since the Sky Blues slid out of the top-flight and they just have the upper hand with 5 wins to Norwich`s 4.

Transfer dealings: Sammy Clingan and David Bell are likely to face their old club this season after 2009 moves from Carrow Road to the Ricoh Arena.

They followed in the footsteps of Leon McKenzie (2006) while Youssef Saffri moved in the opposite direction in 2004.

The man in charge: Paul Lambert won the Champions League as a player and his reputation as a manager is growing all the time.

After guiding Norwich back into the Championship in his first season in charge, the Scot was strongly linked with former club Celtic but is staying at Carrow Road to the delight of Canaries fans.
