Coventry City enter their 10th successive season at Championship level with another new manager at the helm in the shape of Aidy Boothroyd.
The former Watford and Colchester boss will lead his new team into action against 23 opponents, who Vital Coventry will be looking at over the next few weeks.
Head-to-head: The Robins reeled off 4 succesive victories against the Sky Blues upon their return to the Championship in 2007, including a pair of 3-0 wins at the Ricoh Arena.
Both of last season's games ended all-square.
Transfer dealings: Michael McIndoe made the move from Ashton Gate to the Ricoh Arena in the summer of 2009, taking the opposite route to Dele Adebola, allowed to leave the Sky Blues at the end of the January 2008 transfer window.
Signed from the Robins in the summer of 2004, defender Louis Carey never settled in the Midlands and returned to his former club just a few months later.
The man in charge With the Gary Johnson era having ended last season, City appointed Steve Coppell as his permanent replacement and the pedigree of the ex-Reading manager means expectations are high.
Coppell told BBC Radio Bristol recently: 'I look at the league and think it's so open.
'I would say this is one of the tightest Championships for many years with no real clear-cut favourites.'
