Coleman set for swift Championship return

Chris Coleman, sacked by Coventry City at the end of the season, is in line to face the Sky Blues in 2010/11 after holding talks about becoming the new Crystal Palace manager.

Having saved the Eagles from oblivion, the club's new owners seem keen to appoint a new boss with links to the club and Coleman remains a popular figure at Selhurst Park from his playing days.

The Welshman maintains a high profile in the media despite a disappointing spell in charge at the Ricoh Arena and will be part of ITV's commentary and pundit team at the World Cup.

In a classic example of the managerial merry-go-round, Coleman is set to replace Paul Hart, who is now favourite to become the new Hull City manager in succession to Iain Dowie, Coleman's predecessor at Coventry!

should just put all the names in a hat and then draw which team they are to manage. Have a change at the end of each season.
