'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sky Blues pre-season tour

Wick Academy, Clachnacuddin (Inverness), Inverurie Loco, Forres Mechanics and Buckie Thistle are just some of the teams who play in the Highland Football League. The league was established in 1893 and covers an area from Aberdeen through to Inverness, Fort William and North of Scotland.

The league is semi-pro and probably of the standard of the Ryman, Southern and Northern premier leagues in England. There are some beautiful grounds situated by rivers and mountains but all with good amenities.

If you are in the area and need your football fix you will not have to take out a loan to gain admission as you will have change from 10 and have the bonus of being able to stand and change around if you wish.

Check out www.highlandfootballleague.com and www.highlandleague.net and who knows we could be visiting with the Sky Blues next summer.
