City in chase for Colchester star?

Colchester United midfielder Neil Danns is being linked with both Coventry City and local rivals Birmingham after his agent confirmed he was leaving Layer Road this summer upon the expiry of his contract.

The 23-year-old joined the U's from Blackburn Rovers in 2004 after a successful loan spell.

He scored 16 times last season as Colchester were promoted from League One.

I don't think he'll go to the blues personally. They will be after players with a pedigree IMHO.
