'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sometimes the good guys

With the Football League season now finished it is rather refreshing that the three play-off winner's are clubs that have tried to play fair on what is an uneven financial playing field.

10 years ago Dagenham and Redbridge were in the Ryman Premier league but by hard work and careful financial controls they have now progressed to League 1.

Millwall have also made big strides off and on the field to control a minority of their fans and get rid of the 'hooliganism' tag that has followed them for many years.

Blackpool is again an amazing story given that the average home gate was eight thousand for the season and money was tight, but through the club being run properly they have shown how it can be done.

These three clubs have not cheated by spending money that they had not got or had no likely hood of finding as is the case with those clubs now in financial meltdown so well done to The Daggers, The Lions and The Tangerines.
