Get ready for the Sky Blues rumour mill!

With plenty of Championship clubs having already begun putting their transfer plans into place for the new season, the rumour mill for Coventry City is set to start belatedly this week.

The arrival of Aidy Boothroyd as manager has already sparked an announcement from Clinton Morrison on his Twitter page that his time at the Ricoh Arena is over and there is sure to be plenty of talk about who will be coming into the club over the next few weeks.

Although Boothroyd has been charged mainly with getting more from the current squad of players at his disposal, he has already identified the lack of pace in that group as the major area of concern.

Morrison leaves the Sky Blues with a respectable record of 21 goals from 78 league starts.

Would have loved to see Darren Ambrose come in - need some dynamism in middle of park. So long, Clinton - thanks for the memories (hang on, must be suffering from dementia!)
