Match reaction: Coleman the happier
Coming back from a goal down and creating late chances to get an overdue victory left Chris Coleman the happier of the two managers at Middlesbrough on Saturday.
'We certainly created some chances and maybe we could have got something at the end,' said the Sky Blues boss.
'I thought we played quite well. Nothing but pride was at stake coming here so I was pleased with the effort, especially after they went ahead and we got back into it.'
For the home side the game would not have taught Gordon Strachan anything he didn't already know about the players he wants to keep for next season.
'We've all seen games like at the end of the season when teams don't have a lot to play for,' was his verdict.
'The tempo wasn't great and the football wasn't pretty and both sides were maybe guilty of that.'
