'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Huffing and Puffing'

After another very disappointing team performance by a side who 31 days and seven games ago were presented with a real chance of climbing into the top six, at home to Cardiff City. Today we saw a pale shadow of that side who had worked so hard to climb the table and it seemed a reflective City boss who gave these comments after the game.

'We huffed and puffed. We have a much of a muchness in terms of the team. We lack pace and we are looking tired

'We are lacking confidence and we are finding it hard to get in behind teams. We had a good go in terms of effort but we look a bit shaky at the back because we are lacking confidence.'

The comments of the City boss to seem to indicate a frustration with his players that has now transferred itself to the home crowd who were understandably very upset with the way that the side has gone downhill in such a short time.
