Walsall boss wants Morrell

Popular Coventry City forward Andy Morrell is wanted by new Walsall manager Richard Money.

The former Wrexham man has a year left on his contract with the Sky Blues but has been told he can leave on a free by manager Micky Adams.

Money, formerly CCFCs Academy Director, told the Express & Star: 'Andy Morrell has a great goalscoring record when he was at Wrexham and I'm sure a lot of clubs will be interested in a player like that.

'His name is one of the names that has been discussed, but we're not close to anything right now.'

i would be surprised if he moves to walsall would you like him to stay?

He wouldn't be in the first team much. I agree I'd be surprised if he went to Walsall. Still under contract for a year so they'd have to match his wages.
