Slovak star to miss Sky Blues clash

Coventry City travel to The Hawthorns on Wednesday night for what promises to be another exciting local derby, one in which the Sky Blues will hopefully not give their hosts a two-goal lead this time!

Slovak star Marek Cech will not feature for hosts West Bromwich Albion after suffering a groin strain in the weekend win over Preston and he joins Jonas Olsson and Roman Bednar on the sidelines.

Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo said of the Sky Blues: "I think they`ve had a very good 2010.

"I`ve watched them a number of times.

Chris Coleman, who is without Michael McIndoe for the game, must decide whether to make changes to his starting XI after seeing subs Gunnarsson, Eastwood and Sears play their part in Sunday's comeback at Leicester.

Meanwhile the Sky Blues have allowed Elliott Ward to join Preston North End on loan.
