'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Coleman praise for players & fans

The supporters were 'magnificent throughout' and the players were 'superb' in the second half was how Chris Coleman saw Sunday's rip-roaring local derby at the Walkers Stadium.

Quoted on the official club website after the 2-2 draw, Coleman left little room for doubt as to his mood in the dressing room at half-time with City trailing by two goals.

'While Steve Harrison talks about tactics, I talked about 'other things', he said ominously.'

The Sky Blues move back up to 10th in the Championship with their point and although play-off hopes are now fading, the season is far from fizzling out judging by the second half display.

Another tough trip to West Brom follows in midweek and Coleman will be hoping his side do not give the Baggies a head start before showing what they can do themselves!
