Vital Cov readers want Thommo back!

A poll on Vital Coventry this week has been asking which of the former Sky Blues players who look to be moving on this summer would you like back at the club.

Massively ahead at the time of writing is David Thompson.

The right-sided midfielder is a free agent after leaving Wigan Athletic and despite some injury problems in recent seasons, City fans obviously look back with affection at his displays for the club, especially in the first season after relegation when he was our main hope for getting back into the Premiership.

As much as I would want Thommo back with us, I fear he may be out of our league now wages wise. Would be a great signing but cannot see it coming to fruition
