'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'We got the battle we expected

Backed by an incredible away following of 3126 fans, City took another positive step towards the Championship play-off places as the Posh defeat confirmed their probable relegation.

It was under three months ago that the Sky Blues edged past Peterborough 3-2 at the Ricoh, in a game back then that was talked of as a 'six pointer'. It shows just how far the side has come in that short period of time now that virtually all the squad is available.

The City boss could not remember us being under too much pressure or Keiron Westwood having to make too many saves, but was pleased with the team again keeping a clean sheet with praise due for the defence.

As the season moves towards it's climax and excitement is building the next four games present a test of how far we have come, with home games against Plymouth and Cardiff and a testing double header of away games at Leicester and West Bromwich. Roll on next Saturday.
