Coventry City moved up to 8th. in the Championship thanks to a 24th. minute goal by Jon Stead.

Despite losing Sammy Clingan at half-time, replaced by Gary Deegan, the Sky Blues continued their run of good form with another solid away performance.

With expectancy growing this result sets up next weeks visit of Plymouth Argyle nicely.
