Coleman: let's enjoy it!

Chris Coleman believes Coventry City can now afford to 'concentrate on looking upwards' in the Championship after their win over Scunthorpe lifted them to within three points of a play-off place and twelve clear of the relegation zone.

Praising a 'magnificent, collective effort' from his team on a day packed full of positives for the home side, Coleman also urged the club's 'superb' supporters to enjoy the good run of form they are seeing on the pitch.

Despite seeing City reduced to ten men and his side awarded a second-half penalty, opposing manager Nigel Adkins felt referee Paul Taylor continually favoured the home team and that a similar decision against Leon Barnett should have been given in the first-half.

'That should have been a penalty and a red card, end of story.

'A few of the decisions that have gone against Scunthorpe United in recent games have not been good and we very often have the assessors agreeing with us afterwards.'
