Top ten for City as R's edged out

A scrappy game at the Ricoh Arena ended with the right result for Coventry City fans as their side defeated Queens Park Rangers by a single goal.

Gary Deegan came into the side and capped an impressive display with the only goal of the game.

City created little else of note until injury time and the R's enjoyed a good deal of the play.

The Sky Blues once again fought hard though and a wonder save from Keiren Westwood ensured their second clean sheet of the week.

Two important home wins have lifted City to 10th in the table and onto the important 40 point mark, meaning they will travel in good spirits to Newcastle in midweek.

Gary Deegan is a great player, keep him close. I got to watch him when he was at Bohs, pure quality.
