Strikers praised but Coleman eyes signings

Strikers praised but Coleman eyes signings

Chris Coleman was relatively satisfied after seeing his Coventry City side earn another point away from home with a 1-1 draw at Bristol City.

'Bristol were better than us in the first half and we had to switch from 4-4-2 to match their five in midfield,' he said after David Bell's 47th minute opener was cancelled out in the last 10 by the home side.

'But they didn't cause us that many problems and in the end we might easily have nicked it in the closing minutes.'

Clinton Morrison and Freddy Eastwood earned praise from the boss for their workrate but Coleman also confirmed he is hoping for at least one new striker when the loan window opens.

'It's no secret that we need to strengthen,' he commented.
