Bristol City v Sky Blues: A 'massive' game

Coventry City travel to Ashton Gate this Saturday, the first visitors since Cardiff City ran riot there and put six goals past the home side.

A shell-shocked Gary Johnson and his players recovered well from that setback to battle for a point at the Riverside last weekend and will now look to continue their good recent record against the Sky Blues.

'I'm not kidding myself that we are out of the woods, because we are not,' said Johnson, quoted in the Bristol Evening Post after the game on Teesside.

'We have a massive game at home to Coventry next Saturday and I need to spend the next few days building the players' confidence.

City have struggled for goals in recent weeks and Johnson added: 'We need to be better going forward when we play at home, but you also need a solid base and I feel we have given ourselves that with this result.

'Now we have to build on it.

'A draw at Middlesbrough will be a great result if we follow it up with a win against Coventry. We're not there yet, but we'll keep working hard.'
