Window Watch: Keiren Westwood

Window Watch: Keiren Westwood

A round-up of the players linked with moves to or from Coventry City during the transfer window.

Once again staking a claim to be the best goalkeeper in the Championship, Keiren Westwood spent much of January being linked with a move to the Premier League but, happily for Chris Coleman ended the month firmly between the posts for the Sky Blues.

Tottenham, Everton, Sunderland and Stoke were all mentioned as possible destinations for Westwood, signed from Carlisle United in the summer of 2008.

It is surely only a matter of time before the Ireland international makes it into the top-flight but at least if his departure comes this summer it will give City more time to find a replacement.
