'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Window Watch: Patrick Van Aanholt

A round-up of the players linked with moves to or from Coventry City during the transfer window.

Having been a regular in the Sky Blues side throughout the first-half of the season, Van Aanholt, along with fellow Chelsea loanee Jack Cork, was recalled to London by the Premier League leaders in the opening days of the transfer window.

The young Dutchman, more so than Cork perhaps, seems to have a future ahead of him at Stamford Bridge with his pace and attacking instincts making him a possible successor to Ashley Cole in a few years time.

He ended the transfer window being loaned out again, this time for a month to Championship leaders Newcastle United.
