Window Watch: Lee Barnard
A round-up of the players linked with moves to or from Coventry City during the transfer window.
A prolific goalscorer for Tottenham's reserve side during his time at White Hart Lane, Lee Barnard dropped down to League One with Southend United in a bid to ignite his career after five separate loan spells away from White Hart Lane.
The decision has paid off for the 25-year-old, whose 35 goals in 75 league games at Roots Hall brought reported transfer interest from Coventry City.
League One big-boys Leeds United and Southampton were also keen and it was the Saints who succeeded with a £175,000 bid, pairing Barnard with Rickie Lambert in a tasty-looking strike partnership.
