New Burnley boss to raid Sky Blues?

Aron Gunnarsson is the Sky Blues player included in Sunday's transfer gossip columns.

New Burnley manager Brian Laws is, according to the Daily Star, a fan of the midfielder having seen him in action while boss of Sheffield Wednesday.

A £950,000 fee is being mooted for the popular Icelander, who has endured a difficult second season following an impressive introduction to English football and whose place in the City side is under threat from new signings Gary Deegan and Carl Baker.

'It is a clean slate for everyone but I am going to be making some brutal decisions because I don't have time,' said Laws, when asked about transfer deals following his first game in charge of the Clarets this weekend.
