FA Cup: Match reaction

FA Cup: Match reaction

Aaron Mokoena netted a late, late winner for Portsmouth to see them through to the next round of the FA Cup on Tuesday night and admitted afterwards that the Sky Blues could feel slightly hard done by.

'It's always difficult to come to these places and credit to Coventry, they made it difficult for us,' said the South African, whose side were rescued initially by a Stephen Wright own goal.

'The team always tried and I think we deserved the win,' said visiting boss Avram Grant.

'Towards the end of normal time and in extra-time we created a lot of chances.'

Chris Coleman and his players knew that, for all their efforts, City had handed their opponents a passage into the next round.

'We're disappointed with the two goals we gave away,' said the Welshman.
