Coleman to axe before he's axed?

Wednesday's Sky Blue gossip concerns possible departures in January, with the national press claiming that Chris Coleman himself could be leaving the Ricoh Arena if results do not pick up over the Christmas period.

The manager meanwhile, perhaps aware of that fact, has been speaking about the need to freshen up his squad during the transfer window and the fact that some of those players he is set to ship out will raise eyebrows.

'I've been in situations before when you look at your squad and see somebody who's perhaps the fans favourite but he's taking too much out of the dressing room,' said the City boss, quoted in the Coventry Telegraph and hinting at certain players not pulling their weight for the team.

So will Coleman get the backing to improve his squad and send a signal out to the players that he remains firmly in charge or will yet another manager be sent packing from the Ricoh Arena hot-seat?

Time to back the boss I think and send a message out that he's here to stay

I agree and sacking is not the answer, we need stability, we have the strongest squad we have had for yrs and that is all down to Coleman.

changing the manager now is not the answer. We need to support all of the team and if CC wants changes then we must back his judgement. Nothing is immediate in this business, time is needed.
