'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Points the prize for Iron and Sky Blues

Coventry City travel to Glanford Park this weekend for a live TV date which for some reason Sky are not hyping as 'Super Sunday'.

In its own way however the game is of vital importance to both teams as they look to avoid a long, hard winter of fighting against relegation from the Championship.

Clinton Morrison has gone through a barren spell in front of goal, his on-pitch temperature rising with every blank outing although his contribution to the team in general and Leon Best in particular has been praised by manager Chris Coleman.

'I think I am playing well enough but I obviously want to get the goals again,' Morrison told the Coventry Telegraph.

For the home side, winger Garry Thompson is hoping for a recall to the first-team starting line-up and told the Scunthorpe Evening Telegraph: 'We're in a bit of a perilous position at the minute, looking up rather than looking down, which is not a nice place to be.

'But we'll work hard to get those three points on Sunday.'
