Skipper Stephen Wright will certainly miss Sunday's trip to Scunthorpe after being sent-off against Queens Park Rangers last weekend and is waiting to find out whether throwing his captain's armband in the direction of the referee will lead to further punishment.
'We have just got to hope and pray,' said Chris Coleman, ahead of an FA regulatory commission meeting on Friday.
City's youngsters were knocked out of the FA Youth Cup at the Ricoh Arena on Wednesday, edged out by Leicester City in an exciting tie.
Next action at the stadium will be on Friday when the city's crisis-hit Rugby Union club will play their league fixture against Bedford Blues.
