...Livingston defender David McNamee, linked with a move to Coventry City earlier in the week, is set to link up with the Scotland squad for the upcoming Kirin Cup tournament in Japan.

The 25-year-old's agent Derek Rutherford has confirmed that a number of clubs are keen on the player, saying: 'I have had a few people asking me about David's situation and I expect there to be something just after Saturday night.

'There are clubs interested from both Scotland and England and David would like to play in either the SPL or in the Championship.'

...Former Sky Blues Academy Director Richard Money is the new manager of Walsall. He takes over with the Saddlers having been relegated to League Two recently.

...Gary McSheffrey was this week named as Player of the Season and Player's Player of the Season at the clubs End of Season Awards Dinner. Marton Fulop landed the Young Player of the Year award.
