Battling City earn a point

Leon Best once again gave Coventry City the perfect start away from home when netting the opener against QPR on Saturday.

When the home side roared back to take the lead however it looked like a repeat of the Derby County clash prior to the international break.

The Sky Blues though looked much stronger than at Pride Park and, riding their luck at times, levelled through new signing Richard Wood.

City then saw Stephen Wright sent off for a second bookable offence but held on for a vital point.

Good battling display against a strong side

I'm disappointed as a QPR fan not to get all three points today, we did more than enough but were let down by some very poor defending. Credit to Best who took his goal very well and looked lively throughout - you'll struggle to keep that one I think!

Well done. You played a clever game trying to stop us playing football and did a good job. Well except your captain who I expect will get a few game suspension. Your number 21 was immense, specially when you went down to 10.
