Wise set for City return?

Wise set for City return?

Dennis Wise is poised to continue as a Coventry City player next season -if he is not offered a manager's job in the summer.

The 39-year-old's short-term contract at the Ricoh Arena expired after Sunday's game with Cardiff, in which Wise typically had the last say with his sixth goal for the club.

'First of all, Dennis wants a manager's job, so we wish him luck in that quest but if he has not got fixed up, we have talked about him maybe coming back,' said manager Micky Adams.

'The whole football world knows he wants a manager's job and if he gets one, terrific.

'If he doesn't, the thing about Dennis is he won't sit on his backside doing nothing.'
