Coventry City used 31 players during the 2005/06 season, including 2 who made just a single appearance (Ben Turner and Youssef Sofiane).

6 players who appeared for the club during the campaign are no longer at the Ricoh Arena.

Steven Bywater, Lilian Nalis and Willo Flood went back to their respective clubs after loan spells, Neil Wood joined Blackpool on a free while Paul Watson and Youssef Sofiane were released.

Marton Fulop and Richard Duffy's loan spells are also now set to end.

Michael Doyle and Dele Adebola made the most number of appearances with 49 in all competitions (Adebola appearing 7 times as a substitute). Marcus Hall, Gary McSheffrey and James Scowcroft also topped 40 appearances.

Gary McSheffrey was top goalscorer with 17 in all competitions while in total, 12 different players got their name on the scoresheet over the season.

Stephen Hughes, Matt Heath, Claus Jorgensen and Michael Doyle all received red cards during the campaign.
