Six games to a merry Sky Blue Xmas?

Having seen their form nosedive following the last international break, Coventry City fans are hoping that the current two-week gap in the season sparks an upturn in fortunes over the weeks leading up to Christmas.

Chris Coleman continues to maintain that his side will improve when injury problems clear up and the likes of Keiren Westwood, Stephen Wright and Sammy Clingan are available for selection again.

That assertion will be tested in a spell of six games which will take the Sky Blues up to 22 games played, one less than halfway through the Championship season.

City are set to face Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Peterborough United at home with trips to Queens Park Rangers, Scunthorpe United and Plymouth Argyle also pencilled in before the turkey is carved and the crackers are pulled.
