Clough: Win was fully deserved

Derby County gained a much-needed three points by beating the struggling Sky Blues on Friday night and manager Nigel Clough felt his side were good value for the win.

'We were a little bit shell-shocked at half-time because we had played well and yet came in 1-0 down,' he said, quoted in the Derby Evening Telegraph.

City had no answer to Rob Hulse's two goals and threatened little, even before Jordan Clarke was sent off.

'Even when Coventry had 11 men we were on top and playing some good stuff,' added Clough.
