Coventry v Reading: Can strikers step up?

Coventry City battled their way to a goalless draw against West Brom last weekend, stopping a run of defeats from becoming a crisis.

Now the Sky Blues will look to cement a mid-table berth by beating a Reading side surprisingly struggling at the foot of the Championship.

Having sent out a side on Saturday that were hard to beat first and foremost, City will now look to keep that solid look while trying to create a few more chances at the other end and score for the first time since Sammy Clingan's goal against Leicester on October 3.

To that end, Leon Best is set to return from injury for the game.

The Royals meanwhile have lost four on the bounce but were much improved against Leicester on Monday night when a lack of sharpness in front of goal cost them dear.

Grzegorz Rasiak was recalled for that game and the Pole could start again at the Ricoh on Saturday.

'I know I have to do better,' he told the Reading Chronicle newspaper this week.

'I have to start scoring to help out the team.'
