'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Coventry v WBA: Battle of the 'Young Ones'?

Coventry City take on West Bromwich Albion this weekend at the Ricoh Arena with neither side in good form despite the Baggies' lofty perch at the top of the table.

Poor midweek results have meant plenty of work on the training ground for both Chris Coleman and his opposite number Roberto Di Matteo.

While expressing his disappointment at the Sky Blues' display against
Cardiff, Coleman has now embarked on the process of picking up a side he feels still have a lot to learn.

'We have a lot of young lads here who will all be better for the experience in the long run,' he told the official club website at www.ccfc.co.uk.

Similarly, West Brom number two Eddie Newton believes some dips in form are inevitable given the youth on display in the Baggies line-up.

Speaking to www.wba.co.uk he said: 'Everyone has to understand we've been churning out a team in the Championship with an average age of 23,'

'To their credit, they've been consistently near the top since the start of the season.

'In my mind, that's a fantastic achievement by the boys.

'However, the simple fact is that there is some naivety there and we have to address it every day.'
