Coventry City transfer latest

Chris Coleman is battling against the loan clock in order to boost his options for the weekend clash with West Bromwich Albion, hoping to land two new faces, one in defence and one up front.

'We are working really hard to try and get more bodies in,' he told the Coventry Telegraph, admitting that his side needs a lift following two tepid defeats on the road.

Leon Best is likely to miss the Baggies clash and according to reports on Thursday won't be at the Ricoh Arena for too much longer.

With the striker's contract set to expire in the summer, City are reportedly ready to cash in and sell him, with Birmingham City having replaced Wolves as the likely destination.
