Owls trip for Coventry new-boy

Owls trip for Coventry new-boy

Instead of playing in AFC Wimbledon's game against Kettering this Saturday, highly-rated left-back Chris Hussey is set to be a part of the Coventry City squad that travels to Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday.

The 20-year-old has passed a medical at the Ricoh Arena after the two clubs shook hands on a fee.

"It is a fantastic opportunity for Chris and if he does go I wish him all the best,' said Dons boss Terry Brown earlier in the week, quoted on www.yourlocal guardian.co.uk.

"He has progressed phenomenally in the past couple of years, and a lot of that is down to sheer hard work on his part."
