Tough trips to test City mettle

Tough trips to test City mettle

Coventry City return to Championship action with two tough away assignments in the space of four days, Saturday's trip to Sheffield Wednesday followed by a first ever visit to the new home of Cardiff City.

Chris Coleman has seen his small squad depleted further by injury and illness in recent weeks but the Sky Blues have battled hard to maintain a top-half position in the Championship.

The manager should have more options open to him going forward, with Ben Turner and Michael McIndoe both back in contention after injury (although Sammy Clingan is now out) and AFC Wimbledon left-back Chris Hussey poised to complete his move to the Ricoh Arena.

A loan striker remains a priority to take some of the pressure off Clinton Morrison and Leon Best but City should be in good spirits on the journey from CV6 to S6 this weekend.
