Dons boss confirms Sky Blues talks

AFC Wimbledon and Coventry City look to be closing in on agreement for the transfer of highly-rated left-back Chris Hussey to the Ricoh Arena.

The 20-year-old is set to join on loan initially, moving permanently when the transfer window re-opens in January.

Confirming the Sky Blues' offer, Dons boss Terry Brown called it a 'fantastic' opportunity for the player.

Not to heap too much pressure on any potential new signing but City fans will be hoping Hussey does half as well as the last left-back the club signed from a London non-league club, one Stuart Pearce!

Hardly a pillage. According to Wimbledon's boss we have made an offer that reflects the work they have done with the player
