Leicester boss aiming high

Leicester boss aiming high

Leicester City will be backed by a large contingent of travelling fans at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday after a solid start to life back in the Championship under Nigel Pearson.

Having fully recovered from their relegation to League One, the Foxes are not resting on their laurels and Pearson is in confident mood about his side's chances this season.

'We know we can compete and over 46 games it will be a big test for us,' he has said.

'But I don't see any reason for us not to set high targets and expect ourselves to be in the promotion shake-up.'

The two sides have met three times at the Ricoh Arena, with the Sky Blues having the upper hand at present, drawing twice and winning 2-0 in February 2008 thanks to goals from Elliott Ward and Leon Best, just four days after Chris Coleman took charge of the club.
