Blades buoyant ahead of Ricoh clash

Blades buoyant ahead of Ricoh clash

Sheffield United are the visitors to Coventry on Tuesday night and the Bramall Lane boys are in confident mood after another of their trademark away wins on Saturday, frustrating Derby County at Pride Park and taking all three points with a late goal.

' I cannot praise the lads enough,' said manager Kevin Blackwell afterwards.

' We had the end of last season to deal with and I am really pleased with the way the players have acquitted themeselves.

It is normally traumatic to lose in the play-off final and many teams struggle the following season. We have put down a good marker and set off at a good pace and I think it's all credit to the players.'
