Micky: USA tour will be tough test

The Sky Blues are off to America in the summer as they begin what hopefully be a play-off bid next season with a two-game tour of America.

Micky Adams' side will face Portland Timbers and Brigham Young University Cougars and the City boss told the Evening Telegraph: 'We are not looking forward to the journey over there but certainly the two games will be a stern test.

'They are a bit early on in our pre-season preparation but the one thing I like to do is get the players away, particularly if we have got newcomers to the squad, for a little bit of bonding.

'We will get the players back and get them in reasonable shape for the two games.

'I haven't been to that part of America and hopefully it will be a good pre-season exercise.'
