'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Healy confirms Sky Blues talks

David Healy got as far as talking to Chris Coleman about a move to Coventy City on transfer deadline day but is keeping his options open, with the loan window set to open shortly.

Currently on international duty, the striker has been quoted as saying: 'There were a few possibilities for me, one of which was Coventry City.'

Healy has struggled for chances at Sunderland but added: 'I still have two years left on my contract and have continually said that I am happy to fight for my place.

'What has been forgotten about in the rush to get deals done though is that the loan window opens shortly - so I have options.'

Disagree Merlin - a good Championship player and on his day a force to be reckoned with - as England will testify! Would be a good signing for any Championship club in my opinion.

'stay and fight for my place' is another way of saying, like the money and don't want to go onloan.
