'If It's Football, It's Vital'

One week for City to keep £10m keeper?

Coventry City fans are beginning to fear the loss of a third star performer this summer as speculation grows that Kieren Westwood could make a deadline move to the Premier League.

Everton, flush with Manchester City's money after the sale of Joleon Lescott to the Blues, look the most likely destination for the Irish international keeper but plenty of other clubs will be aware of Westwood's talents.

Chris Coleman told the Coventry Telegraph: 'Where could we get a replacement?

'It's one thing if you're selling players at the start of the summer but something else again if you're only three or four days away from the end of the transfer window.

'Keiren's not going anywhere unless somebody's going to come up with 10 million quid - then we might say yes.'

I hope he don't go, he is best keeper I have seen at city for years. thou 10 million would be hard to refuse and think we could do a lot with it if the board allows us.

Agreed that £10m would be hard to refuse, knowing City though would they even refuse half that?
