'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Will Sky Blues look to land a striker?

Coventry City strikers Leon Best and Clinton Morrison have got off to a good goalscoring start this season but take them away and Chris Coleman looks short of options up front, with Leon McKenzie and Freddy Eastwood both short of full fitness.

Speaking after the defeat by Swansea at the weekend the Sky Blues boss hinted at a new signing this week although his concern appeared to centre on other areas than the front men, who were starved of decent service against the Swans.

Vital Coventry is currently running a poll to see where you think a new face is needed and a new forward currently tops the list.

Midfielder Jack Cork meanwhile is open to extending his loan stay beyond December.

He told BBC Coventry and Warwickshire: 'It's until the end of December to start with and then a view to extend it to see how well it goes.

'I work hard throughout the whole 90 minutes and I try to help out the rest of the lads as much as possible.'
