City boss to make transfer move

City boss to make transfer move

Chris Coleman has said that a new arrival at the Ricoh Arena should be in place for next weekend's game against Blackpool after a first league defeat of the season for his Coventry City side.

'We had one or two under-performing so we hope to have another face in early next week to put a bit of pressure on,' he said after the 1-0 defeat at home to Swansea City.

Coleman actually had a few more options at his disposal for the game, with Leon McKenzie back from injury and new loanee Jack Cork both on the bench.

His squad remains relatively small however and he added: 'That's our fifth game in 13 days so there is maybe a bit of fatigue creeping in but I am not going to make excuses.'
